Car pulls left after only 10k miles

It should take a lot longer than 10k miles to make the alignment go out I would think.
My Cobalt is an 07, this is frustating.
For some reason it has just started doing this pretty much on every road except some that pull the car slightly right to give me the illusion the alignment is on.

Is this under warranty or am I going to have to pay for an alignment?

My tires are all at an even 30psi.

Most likely, you'll have to pay for it, but theres always a chance it'll be covered. It doesn't take much to throw off our alignment. You could have hit a pothole, or a few :P, and didn't think much of it when it happened. Besides that, have you been rotating your tires? You should rotate your tires every 6K miles. I do mine every 5K, because its the same time I do my oil change.

A car can get its alignment knocked out in the 100 miles if you hit a decent pot hole. I don't remember if alignment is somthing covered under warrenty but I highly doubt it. You can check since it never hurts to ask.

Just be ready to whip out the wallet.

Try rotating your tires front to back first. If it still pulls, then something's out of whack in the alignment department. If it doesn't pull anymore, then it's time to start saving up for new tires because you might've had a belt shift or something in one of them. Might as well try something free first.

Good point! Does the car pull gradually if you let your hands off of the steering wheel on a flat surface or pull pretty quick in a short distance? Does it only happen when applying the brakes? Do you notice any tire wear on the inner or outer edges of the tire.

In anycase (if not the tire as mentioned above) you will have to pay for the alignment. If the tire does have defect you may be able to get a new one at a prorated price from the manufacturer. Contact your dealer for the details. I haven't looked to see if it is mentioned in the owners manual.

It is usually a gradual pull, sometimes harder depending on the road's degree of being level.

When I go 5mph in a parking lot, the wheel turns quicker.

I have never driven a car with sports suspension or 18in rims but I have had a problem here in Pensacola(mostly just in this city) with my car pulling really hard to either direction either when im accelerating fast, stopping, or sometimes after little bumps in the road. I took the car to the dealer and they checked the entire front end of my car and said they couldnt find anything and it was a common prolem with the 18's and sports suspension. They said there was nothing mechanically wrong. I dont know if you drive an SS but they might give you an answer similar to mine. Might just be the shitty roads here in Pensacola though haha.

The distance between the wheels is closer than average and the wheel wells in the pavement are farther apart than are car tires and they tend to pull you one way or another depeding which wheel you have in the well and which one rides on top.

And with torque steer this pulling action is more pronounced.

Try at 2,000 miles.

Won't be covered.

I think it should be covered...
I have only 10k miles and it needs an alignment already which is sad.
I am the guy who goes really slow over speed bumps and dodges potholes, and it is already out of whack.
They didn't tighten down the bolts or something, whatever it is they did not do it right.
My wife's 03 Sunfire was bought with 35k miles and now at 85k miles, it still does not need an alignment.
I know they are not the same, but I really have not had a car that needed an alignment in such a short period of time.
If I drive this safe and get an alignment now, will it need another alignment in another 10k miles? If so, that is lame as cars shouldn't need an alignment every 10k miles.
