Car runs really rough underboost Help Plz

ok so a few months back we installed an ebay cai intake on my girls car.... car ran great for a few days then started goin into reduced eng pwr mode anytime u got into boost. took the intake off put stock back on... new problem car was very sluggish from 2000 rpms to 4k rpms then it would run a lot better and take off. the car now back fires and runs really shitty if u rev it up stopped wont go above 3k rpms. if your driving down the street and floor it the car hits a wall and goes no where... boost gague reads about 11psi but teh car goes no where and feels like limp mode but doesnt say it. ive checked for vaccuum leaks, nothing. cleaned the maf several times. getting code p0171. what else could it be? its got new fuel pump and fuel filter. dealership couldnt fix it and had no clude what it was they said maf was dirty and that was it. car still had cel on when it left there. can it be a bad map sensor? i am so lost now its driving me nuts each week i waste my days off working on her car and i cant stand it. please help me!

Yeah if it was an oiled air filter it can make the Maf sensor act like crap, but if your sure you cleaned it then it could be a vacuum leak, if you're 100% you checked all the hoses and such then the sensor itself is bad.

If that is the only code you are getting...

P0171 is the only code im getting... and i cleaned the maf really good several times today... i cleaned the sensor ontop of the SC as well whether its the MAP sensor or SCIP sensor not sure but i cleaned that one too still runs the same. i sprayed maf cleaner all around the intake and connections with the car running to find a leak and nothing.. around the hoses and all that stuff car never changed idle.

NEW question? the guy that installed the fuel pump...is it possible to mess taht up or hook it up wrong and that cause the sluggish lack of power?
