I have to take the fuel injector fuse out and then unhook the battery in order to kill my car, as the key is stuck in the ignition. I went to plug my battery in today and as i was tightening the positive cable the horn and wipers started blaring, and stopped. and now the car won't turn over. The radio and dash lights up, but the radio is locked and it also says i have no fuel(plenty of gas in the tank), and that the gate is ajar, which is odd because it usually says trunk instead. Engine light on. The actual lights in the trunk will not turn on as well. I thought i smelled something funny, kind of like fireworks, but i could have been imagining things. Did i just blow some fuses, and if so how do i know what to replace? Or could it just be a dead battery? This is an 07 cobalt sedan.

edit; friend says the starter is not clicking either.
