So listen to this cobaltss.net. i brought my car to a body shop on wednesday to do some minor touch ups and fix a crack in my front bumper. I own a 2005 cobalt ss supercharged victory red. the brilliant employee at the body shop decided to unplug my battery overnight for some reason...then they called me saying my car wont start....

i went there trying tio do the 30 minute reset on the anti theft to no luck....i followed the instructions to the T.

after several cranks the light finally came on on the dash for the antitheft...so i left it and it stayed on over 45 minutes...im wondering wtf can i do next.

im thinking of unpluggin the battery for a few hours and trying again....maybe then itll work seeing as how those morons prolly tried to start the car 40000 times it must be in lockout or something....


all i find online is people that have this problem but most of them solved it with the reset procedure...

someone help me please

Hmm... Id try and unhook the battery again for a couple minutes. I have had my battery unhooked many a time and never had an issue as long as I had the key-fob handy to 'unlock' the car once powered up.
