CEL throwing all sorts of codes for 4 sensors

Well first off my car went into limp mode. I took it in they said my K&N cai caused garbage to clog up the sensors......I took the CAI off after about a week the car ran just fine but threw a code so I went to have it checked out again....the results were 4 different sensor going bad....Throttle position sensor, map sensore, MAF sense, and the barmetric pressure sensor?? I think thats what it was I dont have paper work or anything(family friend owns a shop) So we plan on just driving for a whle untill the code comes up again and untill then I'm trying to find out some info on it...Can anybody help me out here? any suggestions?????

first of all, oiled filters like the k&n can gunk up our maf sensors. Run a dry flow filter.

As for the other codes it would help if you could get the actual codes. Chances are your intake is loose or improperly installed. It's a pretty far out call to say all of those sensors went bad at the same time.

I'd say just go through and make sure there's no connectors loose and make sure all the intake tubes are properly connected and secured. Also make sure your maf sensor is facing the right way.

I'm also pretty sure that it's not possible for all of those codes to throw at the same time. Do yourself a favor and have the codes scanned at autozone or something.

^^^What Nova said. Double check the re-install of the stock system. Get the car scanned at Autozone, or buy yourself an engine diagnostic tool for $40. Its a good investment. Good luck.

yea or at least get it checked out at a different shop. I don't wanna say he's getting ripped off or the people at that shop just don't know what they're doing... but I would be very skeptical if someone told me that every sensor in the intake was going bad...

ya thanks....well he said that there is basicly no way all the sensor where bad....so I told him I would check into this on here and see what other people say. We planned on bringing it in when the CEL went off again and pull the codes then I will get back on here and see what everyone says about it.....So when it does happen again if it does I suggest to him all the things you guys just said and hopefully your right its one of those simple things....He also thought that maybe a ground is lose or possible the Throttle position senso is bad and maybe somehow causing the others to throw codes becuase the TPS is way off....idk but thanks for the advice so far!!!!!
