center console help

How does it come apart? I want to install shifter bushings but need to take it apart first to get to them. Any help is appreciated

I think there is a screw on either side towards the back, and two holding the piece where the shifter is.
Other than that... just pull lol.

weeeell, dont just yank.
I'd look for more screws to be sure.
But thats all I remember. four screws, two cig lighters and the shift boot is it besides the clips.

i would recommend taking the entire center consol apart when installin the upgraded aluminum base bushings. i attempted to install the base bushings with the main huge center console still installed (main piece everything clips onto) and ended up droping a base bushing under the carpet. had to remove the main center part to retrieve it lol. but its alot easier and you have more room to work with. i believe the main center part has about 11 small bolts holding it down. the old bushings are pretty simple to remove. use a screw driver to pry out the metal washer/sleeve from the top then just push out the rubber bushing. replace with the upgraded and put everything back together.

I did what sterner said and removed the whole center piece. Deffinitely helped with my gorilla size hands.
Wasn't hard just felt like the screws were. 9 miles long
