so, my check engine light came on the other day, n i i took it to auto zone. they said it was either a bad thermostat or bad thermostat censor. I scheduled an app. for tomm, and now the light is off? Idk whats goin on. Also, if anything is wrong, can they say the cause of it is because of my intake?

 

they will have to prove your intake caused the malufunction

 

intake has NOTHING to do with your thermostat. end of story

 

Keep your appointment. Even when the light turns off, the code remains in memory and they can still address the problem. Now, since you had a parts store already scan it, they might have cleared the code out too, so it might not be there anymore. But all the same, just relay the code to your dealer when you go in.

 

they said they had to reset the PCM. so taken care of, runs like a champ. thanks guys.
