My check engine light came on yesterday for a large evap leak, code P0455. Before it came on I got a message telling me to check the gas cap, I did and it seems to be fine, so I figured that I made it come on from fueling the car up while the engine was running so I just cleared the code. But today it came back on. Anybody else have this code come up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you realize that just because the gas cap is actually screwed on doesn't mean it's fine, right? the gasket on the cap may have failed. Only way to check that is to do a pressure check on it.

Yes I relized that I took the cap off and inspected the cap seal and it looks ok, but I know what you mean, I am going to use a smoke machine to check for a leak but I wanted to know if anyone else had this issue before and to see if there was a common problem causing this code to come up

depending on how many miles you have, it's a common problem with any car.
