So after searching the forum found similar but not same problem or cause. I was on the highway no lift shifting, when i went nls into 4th and the car popped it back out didnt even engage. There was no grinding noise and didnt miss 4th but it wouldnt go into second our 4th for about a half hour. Then it went into 4th but not second it took about 2 or 3 hours before it would go into second again...I could pull the shifter into second with the clutch not engaged and no noise or anything it was like the car was still in neutral it would not grab..Like i said working now at first thought it was loss of pressure, then linkage but wasnt either of those...Has anyone had any of these problems or know what it is??????

yeah maybe i work at gm im a service attendant so that helps but sometimes mechanics are f***ing stupid so need some opinions..
