was settin on the side of the road this morn waiting on an ol boy in his gt to come throught so we could go race.....but as soon as i pulled out on the road as he goes by my check engine light came on....so i used my onstar to do a diagnostics check for me, it came back with 2 messages, 1 saying clutch is slipping, and the other was low emissions for the converter.....

i know my clutch is blitzed, not worried about that, but i have a 3" hi flow cat and just wondering what would made it come back as the low emissions code for convertor??

someone please help me out here, i have had this convertor on for about 3 months now and this is hte first time its done this....thanks everyone.....p e a c e

 

Well it could be your CAT. It might be shot. I don't know if you still have the stock or not. But in the long run with these cars it seems if you install anything aftermarket, even just an intake or exhaust, CELs pop up. Not much we can do except have someone who knows HPTuners tune the car and clear the codes. The dealership can do reflash but that would only be temperary.
