Check Engine Light with 3 Codes, any ideas what it could be ?
Hi,
My check engine light came on yesterday and I just did a scan and the codes are :
p0069 - mani absolute pressure - baro pressure correlation
p0121 - TPS / Switch a circuit/ performance problem
p2229 - baro pressure sensor circuit high voltage
I cleared them all and now the CEL light is off but when I scan with OPBD2 the P0069 code is still there.
Any ideas what the problem could be ? I have a 6 hour drive to do tomorrow and I hope my car is Ok.
Thanks in advance.
Gabriel

i think thats when the sensor on the supercharger and the sensor next to the supercharger are reading differently, take the one out of the supercharger and see if it has oil on it, or if its gunked up. Check the wiring, make sure there is no leak around the sensors. Had it happen to mine, dont know what i did to fix it, just replugged in the wires and pushed on the one on the supercharger.

Find someone with a good scanner, one that will read and view live data. Google the barometric pressure in your area. note that number, you can also go to National and Local Weather Forecast, Hurricane, Radar and Report as well. with the key on, view the live data on the scanner to see if it matched what the pressure in your area is to be. with the engine not running check the barro sensor and the map sensor. both should match, might be off by 1 in. of pressure. The one that reads different needs to be replaced.
