Clunking noise from driver side rear
Hey, I have a stock 2007 Cobalt S/C with ~23,000km. There is a loud noise coming from the driver side rear whenever I go over bumps. I have tried everything.... I have taken it into a Chevy dealer twice and they told me that nothing is wrong (they looked at the shocks and springs) and that it is normal for the car.
I don't understand how it could be a 'normal' noise as it is coming from one side only. I have checked the spare tire and jack and have also taken out the sub.
Has anyone had a similar problem or is this normal for the car? I am taking the car to a different dealer tomorrow morning.
Thanks, I appreciate any help.

Unlatch the rear seats. Drive around and see what happens. There is a tsb out for the rear seat latches cause they have a metal on metal spot that rub's/ hit's when the seats are latched .
I had a VERY similar noise. Check out a thread here---> https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...hlight=elusive and just give it a try. Mine was making a really LOUD noise that sounded like suspension and it ended up being this. PM me if you need additional info.
Ok, so then I had ANOTHER noise...louder and slightly different than the first. Just got the car back today....the bolts holding in the rear axle were...umm....LOOSE!!!...so check those too.
