Clunking noise when braking

Last few days, if i brake moderately, i hear a clunking noise from the front end. Does it when im in gear or if the clutch is pushed in. Any idea what this could be? Doesnt make any noise when turning or going over speed bumps, just braking, and i have heard it the odd time when accelerating from a stop

Well, called and talked to a tech about the codes before going there since i dont have lots of time. He says, because of how all 3 just went like that, they think its the the computer, not the sensors and dont think it would be covered by warranty.

They said they would need to look at it for a few hours at $120 an hour..... Think cash deal with a local mechanic shop is going to be the answer. **** gm and their shitty quality...

Well thats the update

When the **** was the ECM not covered by warranty?

I suggest taking it to another dealer.

i took it to 3 dealerships, they said the powertrain only covers actual mechanical parts in the internals of the engine or tranny. Electronics are not covered.

Completely retarted, even the mechanic shop its at right now, is completely shocked that chevy refuses to warranty this. I talked to the ford dealership we bought my gf's fusion from and they said they cover electronics that directly effect the engine or transmisions performance and said chevy used to cover them as well.

BTW, the clunking was from the left rear wheel bearing, totally shot, so got that replaced along with the engine oil pressure switch. Mechanic thinks the oil pressure switch may solve the other 2 engine codes since they would be effected by that.

Im going to pick it up soon, hopefully its all good now

the ECM or PCM is covered under 8 years, 80,000 miles Federal Emissions warranty here in the States, you should have something comprable in Canada.

Well it was just a sensor, which isnt covered.

Went to pick up the car and clunking/popping is still there when braking or bucking the engine a bit, so its staying to to get looked at. Engine problem seems to be fixed now though after the oil pressure switch was replaced
