CLutch!

Okay, So i was out last night and i got on it a bit, and my clutch seemed to be slipping not that bad but still slipping..just now i had to drop my brother off at his bus stop to get to school so i wanted to see if my clutch was slipping bad or not.. i pulled up the ebrake and slowly let off the clutch and my car just sits in one spot motor dosnt quit. after that i noticed a whining like noise(not the S/C) when i let off the clutch. i push the clutch in and it goes away i let off it comes back..maybe its always done this and i not really noticed it i rev it a bit and the winee goes with it i push the clutch in and rev and no whine. Anything i should be worried about is that normal?..i really cant tell if it is or not! Yes and no answers are fine but if u can explane what that is it would help very much

Sounds to be the clutch. The whining you may have heard was pprobably the throwout bearing. Or at least that what it sounds like.

I would have checked the clutch slippage by just putting it in overdrive at a low speed and romping on it and see if it slipped.

Why you have it of replace everything clutch, master cylinder slave cylinder, throwout bearing and pilot bearing. Most clutch kits come with all of this.
