Clutch

I have a 06 cobalt ss/na. I have had my car for about 6 months and for 1 of those 6 months i didnt drive my car. This sunday i blew my clutch, i mean destroyed it. I brought it to a chevy dealership around my college and they told me this. I know u are going to say "u beat on it" but i didnt. Now GM wont cover a new clutch now i have to pay 1500 for a new clutch. I would like some advice, or am i stuck with paying the money?

My advice, aftermarket. Go with some type of stage 2 clutch. Even if you don't plan on modding your car, it will be much cheaper to get a stock clutch put in and you can beat on it without worrying about it going again. Oh, and the stealership will rape you in labor by the way.
