Clutch Rubbing?

I don't know what the problem is exactly, but maybe one of you guys can help me out. I feel something in the clutch, but I don't know exactly what or how to really explain it. But it feels as if the metal rod that connects the pedal to the clutch cable/clutch hydraulics is angled to the side and rubbing on something. I asked someone to drive it for me to see if they felt it to and they said they didn't feel it but they felt a vibration sensation in their toes from the pedal. I don't want to have to take it to the dealer because it will take forever and I don't have much free time available. I have a '07 LS and not quite 10,000 miles on the car (approx 9700), so I doubt it's the clutch going. Can anyone help or have any idea of what it might be?

have you actually tried getting down there and pushing in the clutch with your hand to see if it's rubbing?

That rod goes directly into the clutch master cylinder. If it's angled wrong you should try to adjust it straight. If you can't then possibly there's a problem with the master cylinder or the pedal assembly?

Either way it should be covered under warranty. I would just take it to the dealer.

maybe you bent it??? ever slam down on the clutch really hard; or maybe press the clutch at an awkward angle???

I doubt he bent it. It's a steel rod about as thick as a pencil
