Cobalt SS/SC No more ventilation blowing

Hi,

So today my ventilation suddenly stopped working. It is not blowing air anymore. The lights illuminate fine and I can put the A/C on but the recirculation button seems to flash. I checked the fuses and they seem ok.

Could it be a clog in my cabin filter ? I haven't checked yet.

Any other ideas ?

Thanks

Gabriel

I've never had this problem before but that would be a good first step to check the cabin air filter. Have you ever changed your cabin air filter sense you've had the car?

Does the blower motor turn on?
If not, it is fried.

So I removed my air filter and everything works now. It's funny cause the cabin air filter wasn't even that dirty. I have changed it a few times, but it must have been at least 1-2 years. I think I will also put in the OEM model because I may have had an equivalent from a parts store.

Thanks !

Are you the second owner? There was a TSB on a module for blower motors to evaporate any moisture in the system. This kit comes with crappy but connectors that come apart over time.

OEM parts are usually the better choice
