got stuck in the snow last night...(guy with cobalt stopped to help...if your on here thanks!!!)

p0087...fuel rail pressure low

p0089...fuel regulator performance

p0087pd...(what is the pd?)

according to owners man., eng pwr reduced comes on to avoid engine damage...

rocked car back and forth...(when stuck) always fun with a manual...it is low on gas

is the info i found correct?

Warranty service time. Sounds like your fuel regulator is crapping out (p0089) which caused the low rail pressure (p0087) which caused engine misfires and the limp mode.

 

You sure those are the codes,I cant find them listed for the cobalts.
I have my own but theDtc list in at the top of the cobalt general section doesnt list them either

 

that was a generic listing...

took it in for service this morning...

had a whole host of problems listed in info center...

service traction control,abs,and esc...turns out those were due to snow packed sensors,,

the loss of engine power is apparently going to take some time to "dig in too"...

so hopefully there is not a major problem....

im going to get some goodyear ultra grips to help in the snow...its the only tire i can find that is a stock replacement for winter...

took it in monday!...

high pressure fuel pump went out!!!
