Code p0010

Just got this code, took it to the dealer they said i needed a new camshaft actuator, they didn't have any instock so they ordered one, My question is the car safe to drive dealer said it was but i have read a few threads that the screen could break off and end up in the engine oil.

i wouldn't run it hard but you should be safe to drive it till the part comes in

Thanks have you heared of the screen falling in to the engine ?

Update got the car back its like night and day they put the new actuator car drives good now. It's amazing what that litte thing can cause when it's not working.
