code p0100 and p0102 + boost problems

hi,

i had the trifecta 24psi dual mode (cruise control button) installed and those code have appeared.

so basically the car is some time not running as it should.

some times when i accelerate slowly (no WOT) i get no boost. then i accelerate more agressively and i get full 24psi boost....then i try again slowly and the gauge stay near 0...

the first time it happened i got those 2 (p0100 and 10102) code a couple minutes after..

so i got the codes removed...and i still get those weird boost intermitent boost problems but no check engine light...yet (got the codes removed 4 days ago). the problem came back at almost every start the ride after i got the codes removed. now it seems to be less frequent.

i dont think i got boost leak cause it wouldn't be intermitent....

vince don't think it's the tune....he told me it was probably a MAF problem.

anyone else had those king of problems and how did you solve the problem????

thanks

I defiantly think this is a MAF problem. I would try to clean it. You can find MAF cleaner at your local auto parts store.

Here's a pic with K&N intake. It's the connector with wires attatched to the pipe right behind the filter.
You have to unplug it to get access to the sensor inside the intake pipe it's attatched to.

i recently noticed that when i start the car the rev. is not steady. a bit like it was about to cut off but then raise to 1500...and slowly get back to a little under 1000.

so maf sensor is probably the problem...just dont have time to check right now.

i would like to hear from someone who had a similar problem !

anyone ?

Also got a CEL yesterday, scanned for the code today, P0100 and P0102 , i also lost boost intermittent, the car feel very weak when that happen, its very dusty where i work, theres a rock crusher, cement company etc... might need to replace the airfilter and clean the MAF... ill start with that, may be it was the cause...

This is an easy fix, when you plugged your sensor into your intake a wire in the connector got loose. happens to me alot i have an 09 cobalt ss with 63,000 miles on it i ran into every known issue.. thats why your getting the code p0100 just check your Connections, i bet sometimes you only see boost maybe at 3 lbs, and sometimes 24 its def not your tune!

Got my car back from the dealer today after having the same P0100- P0102 with intermittent lost of boost,

it was a partialy cut wire going to the MAF, they said it was a bit short and rubbed on something until it was cut.

So it may be something to look for also.
