cold startup issue

hey everyone! so im having a small issue on cold start. i replaced my factory pcm in my 2008 LNF with a new unit from ZZP. no crazy tune or anything as the car is stock besides a muffler, lowering springs and GMS1. only reason for replacing it was it had an internal issue. car is running flawlessly since i put the new pcm in but the only issue ive had is on cold starts it doesn't go into high idle like it used to. it immediately goes to 1000 rpm. anybody have any pointers on relearning the cold start high idle? thanks!

Idk how ZZP sets up their tune but first thing I would do is ask them as it could be a configuration setting. Alternatively, if it is not caused by the ECU configuration, does your coolant temp sensor work properly? The ECU uses ECT sensor to determine if the engine is cold and thus what RPM to set the idle.

They shut off the cat warmup cycle, it doesnt hurt anything even with a cat. Unless it's running super rough I wouldnt worry about it
