Coolant Temp Reading --- ?

on my gauge cluster, my coolant temperature is all of a sudden reading --- so im thinking the plug came disconnected??? is it only the one plug under the coolant tank? Any info would help thank you

The plug is in the block I believe. Its on the driver side. You will see a black piece with what looked like two wires coming off of it.

The one on the coolant overflow tank is probably just for the coolant level.

Go to autozone and have your codes read. You'll probably have a P0128 set for Coolant temp below thermostat regulating temperature. That would mean you need a thermostat and to clear the code.

I've ran into this a dozen times.
