Newb here. I just purchased a 2006 cobalt ss/sc. The guy i bought it from stuck an aftermarket pioneer touch screen in it. When I bought it he told me after his install the cruise stopped working. Power locks do not work either. Anyone know what he could have done? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Very first thing to check on cruise control is that all 3 3rd brake ( the up high one ) lights are lighting up. The power lock issue would seem to point elsewhere, but rule that out. Even one blown bulb can cause the cruise not to work. Triple check all the related fuses, and then remove the stereo and check the wiring.
