damage estimate?
Not sure where to put this but I got backed into sunday night. I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate on what it might cost to fix. Here's what is needed:
-both headlights
-front fascia
-front impact foam
-grill
-hood
-core support
The only thing that worries me is the core support, it's pushed back a good bit. Thankfully the radiator is okay. BTW the car is an 08 coupe (LT). Thanks.

i honestly cant give you an exact price. i dont have ultramate (estimating program) on me. What I can say though is the core support can be pulled out, as long as the core support is not kinked. if its kinked, you replace it. if its a bend, you can straighten it.
everything else on there is no surprise by what needs to be replaced, those are the most common things to be replaced in a little "fender bender" and your car must have been bumped pretty good to tweak the core support a bit. if thats the case your going to need to check the bumper reinforcement, for the could be twisted or kinked. once again, replace.
the core support is where the hefty bill will come, for structural repairs are very pricey per hour. shop around for a shop that you feel COMFORTABLE with, DONT let your insurance company persuade you to go to a DRP shop. that is called STEERING, and that is illegal (well atleast in the state of pa). make sure you go to a shop that is either I-Car certified or ASE certified, for correct repairs will be done.
i am in school for collision, and i just got done my estimating course. so what i say is correct :-).
also you need to add for r&i times, refinish work, etc.
hope this helps

Thanks for the advice. It ended up being just over $3900. They replaced the core support completely, so no worries there. Good thing is that I got $600 for the factory headlights and just put in some aftermarket one's I got for $115, lol. Turning lemons into lemonade

my frontender where I needed 1 headlight, new front bumper, new rad support, new hood & repaint cost $3500.
GM price on a headlight is $300/headlight!!! lol its cheaper to get a set of projos+HIDs!!
Hard to say how much everything is going to run you for. Keep in mind, my price is also Canadian $
