Angry DEAD Car HELP!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

Ok heres then situation I put neons on my car yesterday. Well I mounted the tubes thats it. I put my car up on some ramps and well I got ready to do the electrical. I poked a hole through the rubber garmet that had 1 wire that goes through the firewalll.(Traced the wire it goes from the fusebox under the hood to the steering system In the fusebox all it shows is a book with an I in it.). Anyways I never touched anything electrical. I never got that far because once I did that I went to start the car because I needed to go. NOTHING happened. Key stuck in the ignition. I had just pulled up the Ebrake. Nothing works except the accessory power. I just had the battery tested 30 minutes ago and its good. I have no idea. Ive been checking fuses but cant find anything as of yet? ANy ideas. PM Service Tech help me PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first off, i would highly recommend since your not to knowledgable about electrical, run it straight off the battery with a switch. its easiest and fastest and less of a headache.

2nd off, try undoing everything electrical youve already done.

You could have tapped into the wrong fuse, or the wrong side of the fuse.

Ive always ran it to my stereo. so if i turn my key off...my neons turn off too.

My car HAS to be on for my neons to be on (or atleast turned into the on position)

Like I said, try unhooking all the electrical youve done and try to start your car.

i did none sir. Thats the point. I never wired anything up. I just checked every fuse and they all look good. Except the square things. I have no clue. I do stuff like this all the time and have never had any problems. I know their is power running through the car. I saw a spark when putting a fuse back in in the car just a few seconds ago. I am bewildered

The wire you ran through the firewall...if you have a standard tranny, theres a clutch safety switch there (the switch that makes sure you have the clutch depressed when starting the car), you may have moved or disconnected it.

ok, are you able to remove the key from the car??? if not.....look on the bottom of the steering column cover...there is a little panel you can pop out....pop that out and feel around inside for a little button...push that button and turn the key, it should come out.

The shop that installed my alarm had the same problem come up on my ride. I was ready to snap at them lol, but they somehow fixed it. I will probably spin by there tonight and see if hes open. I remember him saying something bout how a couple of fuses blew when they were wiring. I will ask him for more info, but I doubt he will remember (it was like 6 months ago)
