AS most of u know the dfco on this car can make the car jerk and jump if u go slowly in 1st gear or are driving in 1st in traffic. last night my car started to stick throttle wise in every gear. since i have tranny bushings it makes for nasty shifts. higher gears not so much cuz it takes a little more to get to the gear but it is irritating me. when i shift from first to second the throttle is sticking. like if i leave it in 1st and just hit the gas it goes up normal but the deceleration isnt as jerky anymore so if i shift to 2nd it is delayed and jerks the car. i dont know why it's doing this at all and just wanna see if anyone else's had this issue before i go to the dealer.

so the symptom is give gas get to 3k and the car doesnt decel fast like it usually does so when i shift i have to slip it to keep it from bucking horribly. i dont wanna keep slipping it cuz i dont wanna mess up my clutch.

 

Sounds like a dirty throttle body. The butterfly could be sticking cause it's gummed up. I'd look at that first cause it's an easy fix.

 

my 05 is bad for doing that clean the tb and you should be good to go!

 

yea it seemed to stop. when i change my oil in the next week im doing my fuel filter and recharging my k&n filter. ive got 3 cans of free throttle body and intake cleaner to use so ill go for it
