Diagnosis for codes P0101 and P0068...

If your car experiences a loss in power, hesitant acceleration, and starts throwing performance codes (such as P0101 and P0068) in conjuction with each other then pull your catalytic converter off and take a look at it. Unfortunately most of the time just slapping the bottom of it or looking for any discoloration won't be a telltale sign. Physically pull it off and look at it. It may be clogged from running to rich or just completely disintegrated.

Someone wanna make this a sticky?

Here's a better suggestion. Instead of taking apart your car, have the dealer fix it under warranty. Or don't run shitty aftermarket tunes that cause the problem in the first place.

mine ran p0101 cuz the brake booster hose was rubbing on top of the trans and wore a hole in it...thus throwing the lean fuel trim code
