DIC reads "ENG PWR REDUCED"
DIC reads "ENG PWR REDUCED"
at random points of a drive my car basically shuts down,
there are times when ill be mid pull and sometimes just driving normally.
Now for what happens, the car loses all boost and my throttle stops working as well, unless u have it to the floor for 2 seconds then it kinda works. also the DIC reads "ENG PWR REDUCED".
When im driving to a spot to pull over and check it out the boost wont go past "0 lbs" or will the car go over 60mph.
Then when i finally do stop the motor is having a hard time running, it seems as if its running on 2 cylinders, and is just one rough idle. and when I turn the car off it feels like a dielsel shutting down with the motor rock and even the sound.
Here's where it gets weirder, i go under the hood and the red wire on the top left of the fuse box, jiggle that a little bit and then the car will start back up just fine. Sometimes that works and its good for weeks, other times ill do that and then drive 5 feet down the road back to "ENG PWR REDUCED" mode.
has anyone experienced this problem, or have any idea what may be causing this.

yeah ive got a 2.7, 60's K&N typhoon, clutch, and coilovers, but this was happening before i got the mods and tune. then it was working just fine from the Ohio Fall Meet until a few weeks ago.
Yes that why i didnt think anything of it, also the throttle position sensor is making more and more sense as the morning goes on, concidering my cruise control also isnt working either.

its at the dealer now, they tried to tell me it was my intake and exhaust that made the car go in "limp mode" yeah my ass. but ill keep you all posted on what happens and what the overall root cause ends up being.
yeah they are stupid, they looked at me and thought i was just another punk ass kid, until i started questioning everything going on with it lol. they went speachless and couldnt answer anything.
they are saying it is my air pressure sensor on top of the blower and that they still arent 100% sure if thats the problem. so we will have to wait and see what happens

So i got some good news and some bad new, they found out what the problem was,
bad news is it ended up costing me 300 bucks.
For what ever reason my air pressure sensor, on top of the blower, that went bad, causing every sensor after that to read wrong thus throwing the cars sir flow all over the place.

Barometric Pressure sensor is what i was told mine is today, mine would die as soon as i gave it a decent amount of throttle/ or if it went over 50 feet it would just die at a random point.
but i can get mine up and going up to 60 w/o any boost but it wont go any higher than that but it will dump A LOT of fuel into motor
