Going to add my vote for ECM or the wiring right near it. I know on the LNFs ECMs water and salt can get past the seals on the plugs and it rots the pins and plug connectors out pretty badly. Not sure if the LSJ can have this issue or not.

Oh no! Sounds like grounding to me.
My problem wound up being that i likely went over a bump which caused a loose ground to break and fry the ECM.

Okay so im kinda having the same problem at the moment ... Dont know wth it is !! First of car in 1st gear at wot car bogs out at about 5k rpm or so .. Or if i hit a bump or hole on the road rpms drop amd car shuts off ... I replcaes crankshaft sebsor still doing the same . so i took the car to a tuner to get the car reas turns out my pcm is from an 06 malibu... Ivebhad mt car for over a year and it just started giving me problems .. So dont think pcm is the main reason . either way i ordered a new pcm from zzp and 80lbs injectors . before i but everything back on i wanna make sure i wont have the same problem again ... Any ideas of what it could be ???

Crank and cam sensors can be tested without HPTuners or any scan tools.

A decent VOM can test them.
