different trunk problem

Has anyone noticed when it rains that their "Trunk Ajar" message flashes even though the trunk is totally closed very well? Would it have anything to do with stripping the interior from the trunk?

not sure, maybe that plasict peice that goes over the latch would mess it up. im not sure thought
