Got my new dp on yesterday

Everything was running good, till I got on it in 3rd.

At WOT in 3rd and 4th, the exhaust starts popping and it threw a cylinder 4 misfire code but only once.

And it only does it under heavy acceleration in 3rd and 4th.

I did some searching around and the only thing i could find was that I may need to check the gap on my spark plug.

Was just looking to get some input in case that wasn't the problem.

check ur 02 sensor

what downpipe did u get? other exhaust parts on as well? what car?

 

Its a ss/tc.

It is the zzp catless with the angled 02 bung.

The only other exhaust mods i am aware of is a muffler delete which was done by the owner before me.

 

New development, my brother informed me today that when it does it (again only at WOT) it also shoots out puffs of white smoke.

Any idea what might be causing this?

 

White smoke is usually indicative of burning coolant but don't know why it would only do it in 3rd and 4th
