Drivers Side Low beam keeps burning out

Ok so far I've gone through 5 H1 bulbs (some silverstars, some used from what came with the projectors) and the low beam on the drivers side keeps dying! They work for a day or two and then ill be driving and ill notice that only one of my lights is on, so then im forced to drive with my brights.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Its deff not me and my hand oils, after the 2nd time I've been VERY Carefull about that. The only thing i could think of is a bad connection on the blue 3 prong clip thing, however ive checked that and my next idea is to completely take that connector out, and hardwire the beams in.

My other idea is to get HID's, they are powered by the battery right? Does this sound like a good idea, bad idea? Id appreciate any help.

Could it be a bad connection,it would cause a high current draw, and being on low beam most of the time blows your bulb prematurely.
A bad connection also causes a voltage drop.does one bulb look a bit dimmer than the other one.

They are the projectors though, so I doubt my dealer will even bother, any problem there just going to blame on those and kick me with a high bill

You could check the voltage at each connection and make sure the bulbs you are using are rated for that voltage.
I put some Gm bulb in a freinds chrysler and the didnt last and he was told that the bulbs for the chrysler had a higher voltage rating.Thats why the gm ones woude not last.Same thing though driver side ?
