Nope. The only way I can think of to get to the battery is with a hammer.

yea mine died around 8000 and they replaced the battery and told me to try it and nothing happened so i had to get them reprogramed. and yes it just pops off no hammer needed.

get the replacement battery by enegizer it last 3 times as long!
