Dtc 0507

Ok. I did a search on the topice, but I couldn't find one.

Well I go to take off my S.C. to port-n-polish it. As I unscrew everything and disconnect everything that was necessary, I got to the 8-9 screws(not sure of the exact #'s) on the super charger it's self. These are the ones located on the end where the pulley is located. I started to unscrew those, when I noticed the S.C. oil started to come out. So I stopped unscrewing the bolds and I started to put all the screws back and conecting all the plugs, beacuse I can't replace the S.C. oil right now and I didn't want the oil to leake out. So everything is back together. So I started my car and pressed on the gas a few times. Then my car was runnign at idle. Then as I go to back up, my car started to hassitate while sitting at idle. The RPM's were rising and falling as if I was reving the engine(which I wasn't). The car sounded like it wanted to turn off, but it didn't. I never heard or seen someone on here get this code....to my knowledge. So I turned off my car and I let it sit for 10mins. Then I started it up again and it ran fine. I let it idle for 5mins and then I go to press the gas and it hesitates again. So right now, I disconnected the battery and I'm going to reconnect it after an hour. Hopefuly that will reset the computer. I have the scan gauge and it read: DTC 0507
I don't know what happened. Does any body have an idea? Or what should I do to fix this? My car did go into limp mode did it?

Thanks!

DTC P0507 is for a high idle speed. Considering you were working around your intake/SC I suspect you have a vacuum leak. Either your gasket isn't sealed properly or your Map sensor is leaking, PCV hose not all the way on, etc. Check all your connections and seals and clear/erase the code and try again.

Well I checked all the hoses and connections. I reinstalled the SC, and the car is doing the same thing. While I have my car in nuetral(@ idle) and I give it some gas, the car sounds like it wants to turn off but then it doesn't. It's like it hessitates.

Can any body help? I'm still getting DTC-0507

When you check the codes is "P0507" the only code you're getting?

Here's what the factory service manual says to check:

Check for poor connections

Vacuum leaks
Excessive deposits in the throttle body
faulty PCV
skewed MAP sensor

P0507 is set when the idle speed of the engine doesn't match the desired idle -- if air is leaking through a gasket for example. The TAC in the TB cannot control the idle because air is coming from somewhere else.
