DTC P0300 random misfire anyone?

My 2006 ss/sc is throwing a P0300 random misfire code. Has anyone else had this problem? I am taking it to the dealership in the morning for servicing. I was wondering if I should take my CAI off and put my stock intake back on. Any suggestions???

probably a vacuum leak somewhere. If you've changed your spark plugs recently, you might want to check the gap on them. What size injectors are you running?

I Get that one from time to time. I just reset it and keep going. Ive noticed I get it more with my interceptors for some reason. YES DEF Take off your CAI, or they will try to say it's causeing it.

If you can, you can take your plugs out and check them yourself, clean them ect.

Does the car seem like its really misfireing? or misfireing bad?

I was in traffic a few days ago and my cel came on. I checked it and got the rmm. So I changed my plugs to a step colder cause of the 42 injectors but it still barely misses. Should I just not worry abt it?

I got 42s also, I dont worry about mine. It happens from time to time. I hear it gets worse as you go up in injector size. If you notice the misefires and can hear/feel it in the engine, then worry about it.

Just make sure your plugs are gaped right and clean good

I gapped my plugs at .4. Is that too big?

0.4 is WAY too big,
you need arround 0.040 and 0.042 depending on your year.
Mine are set to 0.040. You sure you didnt mean you have them at 0.04 already? I dont see any spark plug capable of going quite 0.4 (almost half an inch) wide anyway.
