hey guys all of a sudden my e brake lever isn't locking and i took it apart and this metal piece came of and it has like teeth on it and i feel thats the problem... well anyways do any of you guys know how to put it back on??

 

2 cable wires should hook onto it

He said the HANDLE isn't locking !
Its the piece in the handle with teeth that engages when you raise it.
I've had mine off and I don't think you can just repair it if I remember correctly.
I believe you would have to replace the handle, but not 100% sure.

 

ok i found a thread about that and the only problem is how do u take off the handle??

 

Raise the handle look on the bottom you'll see a slot, stick a screwdriver in there and it should pull off.
Or just grab the handle and twist it slightly to one side and then pull it off.

 

your talking about the plastic part right?? well i already took that off i just don't know how to unbolt the lever like i see a bolt and I'm not sure if i unbolt that to take it off or what??
