ive read all the threads and i couldnt find one with a similar problem like mine...

if i pull the lever up itll hold the car... but the button doesnt click so it doesnt hold the lever up...prolly gonna look at it tonight...anyone know what exactly to look for??

 

I THINK but I'm not sure that you've either got a spring that's come out OR a piece of plastic that broke off. Take the center console out and look, the problem will be at the base of the handle.

Did I make it sound clear enough? It should be at the very base of the lever. If I weren't exhausted and ready to PTFO on the couch I'd go take a pic of mine.
