e brake problems

so my e brake for some reason has alot of play and when i pull it up some times one of the cables pops out
so i figured it just need adjustment but i maxed the adjustment out and its still no good

looks like ones dragging

does the cable look stretched the insulation is moved

Either the rear caliper is messed up, or your pads need to be changed.

The spring for the ebrake return is probably messed up. I am pretty sure it is part of the caliper so you have to replace the caliper.

If the first 2 inches of the ebrake handle are floppy, I'd have the dealer replace the assembly. Fixed mine.

Same problem I had with mine. My passenger side caliper wouldnt release when I put the e-brake down. Had to replace the entire caliper.

Ive got the exact same issue with mine, I just dropped it of at the dealer tonight so Ill let you know what they ended up repairing when I get it back.

fixed mine calipers were frozen so i oiled up the ebrake turning barrel
