ebrake fail!

so..my ebrake stopped working again..i had this replaced a little over a year ago under warranty....now they tell me they wont replace it again because the car is under warranty...so tonight i was sitting in my kitchen..and i hear BOOM..look outside and my cobalt is slammed into my dads 07 mustang gt..my car just really needs a new front bumper..his however hit right where the bumper meets the fender..did about 10x more damage than mine...you think i can make them fix this ebrake for free?

They should good-will it if you're over by like time and not mileage or one or the other. I'd try anyways since they already did it once. Just argue that the tech is a tool or something and screwed it up if it was replaced not too long ago...

If it's out of warranty then it's out of warranty, and don't go blaming a service tech who most likely didn't do anything wrong, overuse or applying the parking brake too tight can cause it to come out of adjustment. I myself am a service tech, and this always blame the mechanic attitude really pisses me off. No one wonder people don't like/trust mechanics, everybody just makes up bullshit about how terrible we are
