Changing Transmission Fluid on 2.2

Hi everyone, im changing my trans fluid tomorrow in my 06 2.2 automatic, is there a how to on this? I searched the forums but couldn't find one for my car, thanks for the help.

Not sure if its the same for the auto. But when i changed mine, you must remove your tire, get a allen wrench and behind your strut area you will see a bolt thats next to your subframe, i had to grind down my wrench for it to fit but the lowest bolt is the drain plug. Cant see it unless you stick your head in the wheel well. THe plug you can see is the fill plug undo both and let it drain. plug bottom but leave the top one off as it is used to tell you when the tranny is full it will start to dribble out. Now to fill your tranny, open your hood, look down next to your fuse bo between the motor and you will see a plug, thats where you fill it at.

well i have 7 quarts of tranny fluid and a filter im thinking of just taking it to the dealer

I think that the trans fluid is rated for 100K miles. Unless you drive really hard, I would not bother until 75K.
