electric cutout....

i have the SC and i want to do an electric cutout side exhaust
but not like a turbo car iv heard it doesnt make any more power cuz of the SC

anyone know more about this? anything would help alot

i had the o2 sensor out with my setup and it was hella loud! and you want a bigger hole

I always thought unless your making 500+ ponies you actually lose power with this mod? ehh what do i know im a turbo sedan haha

yeah... you will lose bottom end power... even with a SC car you need some back pressure to make torque...

that stuff only works on big engines and turbos...

when u are over 300hp it doesnt effect anything

I want to put electric cutouts on my truck but figure I could crawl under and unbolt them all the same while saving lots of money. It is hella loud though with the dumps bein right off the headers under the cab. I couldn't imagine the noise in a car, it would be insaen. The best part about cutouts are the looks from everyone wondering what the heck it's got under the hood.

my buddie has the cutout on his dodge 1500 and it sounds so sick and itseasy enough to get under and unbolt

I plan on having GM stage 3, you think i can just run a cutout with the stock catback? I've got an xtc downpipe and header... Will it be more bad than good? as for loudness.. idc

and that makes u the all knowledgeable? lol

u lose lowend torque (which isnt to bad for those of us that spin thru 2nd gear) but u gain top end power...im running a cutout in my car
