Check the fuses arent loose,
Also check the Rap relay ,I think its under the hood in the fuse box.It controls all the power.

The only thing that would cause that would be you altenator half cycling so you dont get a clean dc voltage and its getting choppy thus giving you
the strobe affect.

alright so spent the day clearing out all the additional electronics.... the only thing is the sound system which has been in there for 2 years now never had a problem... i did find a fuse for the hids that wasnt just popped it exploded the metal melted into the fuse holder itself .. what would cause a power surge like that...

oh and today i noticed that my interceptor turned off for a couple minutes or so then right back on:S

Your Hid must be fried and causing all your problem if they blew the fuse that bad.
They have a ballast dont they to start,it must be smoked(melted and shorting out) or the fuse cant handle the inrush current when you turn them on.

The Hids Im sure run off a ballast and when they start going like a florecent lamp they will flicker. And will cause other stuff to because of the start up load of these ballasts.

Has no one ever told you that a florecent light uses most of its hydro when you turn it on.
The Hids work the same way.
And when they start flickering they will heat up the ballast and melt it internally and short out eventually blowing the fuse.
