Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

electrical problem

ok well i was disconecting my amp yesterday because im just tired of the system and i want to lose the weight... i disconected the remote wire, with the power still on because i wasnt thinking, and it touched somthing metal and started smoking... i figured w/e it probably blew the fuse i had it hooked up to but that was my sunroof fuse and now my car will not start... can anyone please help me???

Do things like headlight and turn signals still work. did you check the both the under dash and under hood fuse panels. will the engine turn over.

Does you head unit turn on? If not check your stereo fuse. For some reason there are alot of cars that if this fuse it blown the car will not start. I don't know if that is true for this car or not. I have yet to put in my stereo into my new Cobalt, but I am sure I will find out.

I learned that one the hard way in 2 different cars... So much for me trying to be a do it your selfer, but I learn it just takes me a few screw ups.
