electrical problem?
Ok well today I was driving i stopped the car for maybe 2 hrs I had locked the car with the remote, when I come back to open it the remote wont work. So I had to use to the key to open the door and the alarm went off so I just started the car and the alarm turned off. I tried the remote and it started working and also notice that my HU turned off like if I had disconnected my battery. Any ideas what I could check? I already replaced the battery in the remote as is not the first time it happens it has like a week doing it.

Well took it apart and the connection from oneside looks weak but its still connected. One thing I noticed was that the remote was a bit humid from the inside on the back part of the remote I guess it would be where the buttons get pressed on the green thing I forgot whats its called lol im thinking maybe that could cause it to not work

Well according to my rpd its running at the correct voltage I would have to check with a multi meter to see the charge when I havent moved the car as it should be at 12.6 if I remember correctly, also I cleaned the car battery as weel and got everything nice and tighten on friday so 2 days ago

Well it happened again not sure whats going on, I mean it no big deal but its annoying lol, at first u though it was because I was making the key fob get moisture by it been in my pocket but nope thats not it so im thinking of soldering the connections inside the fob hopefully thats it. I asked in the stealership and they told me I might need to get a new fob and to reprogram it it would be 55 bucks idk what to do or check anymore. Any one now a fuse or something that could be causing my problem?

Yeah im probably going to do that next if the soldering doesnt work, If not ill probably take the door apart and see if anything is loose or something like that
I had the same problem so I went to GM dealership and they sold me a pad. Working well since. You can get them here around 15$, I paid 25$ at dealer. Good Luck
