Emissions Test with GM Stage 3
Emissions Test with GM Stage 3
Here's the story so far. I had a Vibrant header & DP with high flow cat installed about 1.5 years ago. My check engine light came on 1 or 2 days later and I left it until now becuase I knew it was the high flow cat. The problem is, I now have to pass an emissions test, so the issue couldn't be ignored anymore. My first attempt at solving the probelm was to have an O2 sensor extension tube installed. Once again, the check engine light came back on after 2 days. My next attempt at solving the problem was to finally have my GM Stage 3 kit installed that I have been collecting parts for for the past 2 years. GM Stage 3 disables the rear O2 sensor, so I figured that would surely solve the problem. I had also heard from other Ontarians that they had passed with no problems with GM Stage 3. I only had the kit installed for a few days before the test, so I THINK the issue was that there was not enough data present for the test. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Will I be fine if I drive the car for a few more days and then go take the test agian? Any input you can provide would be appreciated!
Here is the paperwork from the test I took this morning:

I dont know if the laws are that much different, but here in the states, I pass emissions with GMR Stage 3 no problem.
You should be fine. The only reason GMR S3 isnt considered emissions legal is because it wasnt 100,000 miles emissions certified.
