Engine doing funny things, opinions....
Ok so yesterday we had a massive rainstorm and where I had my car parked the water got up to nearly the bottom of my door, before I noticed how fast the water was rising (only took about 15 mins to get that high) when I noticed I backed it out and actually had to go through some deeper water to get out of that parking lot, I took it easy driving home and then this morning on my way to work it started up fine but when I starting reving it up to get on the highway it would pause for a second then pull, then pause, then pull repeatedly. It seemed to be ok from my way home from work after sitting for 9 hours . Could this simply be because my air filter got wet (AEM cai) so the air wasn't flowing properly, or possibly small amounts of water getting into the engine or is there something more major I should be worried about.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Pull your spark plugs out and crank the car over. If there is any water in there it will shoot out. Then change your oil ASAP.
I doubt there is much if any water in there. If you sucked up a lot you would have torn apart the bottom end.

why chang the oil the water went into the combustion chamber and got burnt and sent out of the exhaust the only way it would need an oil change is if he drove it under water
dry out your filter

Another FYI, Water can't be compressed, therefore when the piston approaches the top of it's stroke, the water has nowhere to go and that's how things get broken.
