Engine vibration

Hey folks,

My first post here. Seems to be a bit smarter group than the "other" site. Although I see a few familiar names.

In the past few weeks, I've noticed that I can feel the engine shaking at an idle. It's subtle, but I can feel it in the car. Popped the hood, and sure enough, the engine is shaking. Not a lot, but you can see and feel it.

Seems to me these shings should idle dead smooth.

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks,
Ron

some shaking is normal , all motors do it

but if you think it is excessive , take it in to get looked at or go check a similar car at the dealer

My LS shakes a bit at idle, only for a few seconds though. Don't think it's a problem.

As said above, if it seems excessive, go get it checked out--no harm in that..

Well, thanks.
I didn't notice this until a couple of weeks ago. Seemed dead smooth before.
The dealer agreed to a free oill change, so I'll have them check this out at that time.
I'll also complain about the idle hunt, and this should promp a reflash of the computer. Although I'm not sure if there will be an updated program for an 06.
