Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Unhappy engine wont start

just installed aem cai and my car ran great then i start it this morning and it sputter and cut out, now it wont start and i have no cel, possible maf sensor????

yea I would check your maf sensor and make sure it hasn't been damaged or left unconnected.

Just go back and recheck everything you might have messed with during the install. It's just a cai, so it's pretty limited as to what might have got messed up.

MAF is a possibility. Double check all the connections and make sure there are no vacuum leaks. Those play havoc on the car, especially after the MAF. also did you disconnect your battey after the install? sometimes the computer needs to be reset to relearn the increased airflow.

ya i would say you have a problem reinstall the stock intake back up see if it works then go from there

re installed stock intake still no luck, even reset the computer along with cleaning the maf with maf cleaner

Could also be an air leak. If things are not connected properly, or if filter fell off you will experience those problems. Usually a F-ed MAF will still let you start the car, but a disconnected piping or filter will make it fall flat.
