Everyone's help is needed ASAP
Hey everyone. So i've recently replaced the fan assembly, radiator, condenser, and intercooler on my 05 ss supercharged. The car still won't start. It started a few times but it took a while to start it. A friend said he thought it could be a fuel problem considering the cars been sitting for a while before any work has been done to it. I replaced the oil and the oil i took out was a normal caramel color. As of now, the cars sitting in the shop. Any ideas on what i could be dealing with?

so did it start before u said i changed these...was thre a reason for the change... i beleave a crank sensor would keep the car from starting or you need to crank for well over the aloted time you would usualy crank ( hold the key for like 30-40 seconds and if it starts its the crank or cam shaft sensor.) these cars have a problem whn they get cold the ignition switch stops working but after some time it should work after u try it and wait like 30 mintues... more info on what its doing... is it turning over? is it just not doing anything? what happened that u needed to replace all the front end condensors and everything?
as stated abbove check the fuel pump ... check for fuel pressure at the rail by pressing the releafe valve and then cranking and pressing it again see if there is pressure both times or even use a fuel pressure tester. next thing on the list is making sure ur starter is in working order ... but i need more info to determin what could bne the problem
also "sitting for a while " as in how long? a year...maby u got bad gas.

Yes, the car when in an accident. I'm not sure how long it sat because I purchased it with a salvage title. Where is this inertia switch, because that may be my problem considering it was in an accident. The car will crank, and it started two or three times after it cranked for a while. Now it just will not start. I had to replace the condenser and all that because it was in an accident. Something had hit the front assembly, damaging only the radiator, condenser, a/c fan, and intercooler. It missed the front bumper. Thanks for your help, and I'm anxiously awaiting your replies.
its not the intreia switch because he said it started before, and the accedent didnt sound bad enough to cause it to go off, the car will start with out either or crank or cam sensors plugged in you just have to have one plugged in for it to start,
Are you sure everything is plugged in, the throttle body, mass air flow sensor, ever thing. Also depending on how long its been sitting it defantly could be bad gas, If you have a code scanner plug it in and see if theres any codes from when it did start, mabey like a P0300 which would be random multipule missfires which would indcate bad gas,

if you not the machanic type i would tow the car to the dealer and see if they can figure it out, they should only charge like 100 bucks to tell you whats wrong, then you can take it home and fix it yourself

the SSSC sensor on the top of the supercharger has a function it is a 1 bar sensor except IIRC it was not a MAP but a SCIS sensor.... dont quote me tho. im starting to lean toward a messed up sensor
yea it could deff. be that sensor im not sure if that would keep the car from starting
like i said when super charging a 2.2 we dont use that sensor so i would never have to worry about that

nope you wouldnt have it not plugged in lol.
the fuel pump fuse could be blown. i pull mine when i changed the fuel filter to depressurize the system.
