is this the muffler baffles coming loose?

when i start the car i get a nice rattle like the exhaust is vibrating on something or ratting, its especially loud with my window down or if im accelerating in downtown where the sound echoes off the buildings, i sound like a riced out car! lol

 

Ive had this problem. My dealership replaced my resonator and the sound is gone now. The sound just gets worst to so you might want to bring it in and show them.

Cool. I took foever to bring it in over this until I just couldnt take it anymore. Its so nice being able to cruise with no music on and hear NOTHING! Well other than the engine but thats ok with me.

 

i had a rattle, it was just one of my hangers though, played with it and its fine now.

 

check the heat sheild over your cat.

 

I had a section of my exhuast replaced a few months ago for a rattle noise. They said there was a dual wall tube section ( i'm thinking the resonator ) that had the inner wall cracked, and was makign the noise.

a few weeks ago, it came back, but it was the sheild above the muffler ( i think ), but I know it was a heat sheild they adjusted.
